Chocolate Chip Brownies

Tonight, for the first time in a month I didn't have Opera practice. I didn't know what to do with myself so after laying in bed watching movies and catching up on Tv shows, I tore myself from my bed and decided to go for a run. After my run, I sat in the sauna enjoying the relaxing heat. By the time I got back to my apartment I was on a role. I decided to conjure up a special treat for my roommates... and decided on my Dad's famous chocolate chip brownies. They are made totally from scratch and filled the apartment with the homiest aroma! After I took them out of the oven and let them cool a little bit, we dug in. I poured myself a big glass of Almond Milk and dipped my chocolate chip brownie in. DELICIOUS! Nothing like some old school baking to cheer up your day.
